I listened to this in early access and it sounded like a very thoughtful approach to disorders. Then I saw his hardline stance on leaving genocide deniers in the VO.
I’m gonna listen to the interview, but it has been very strange to see the entirety of games media fall all over themselves to give special interview episodes to Edmund without pressing him on any of that
In my hype for this game, i have listened to almost every interview with edmund (he has done A LOT). This is without a doubt, the best one i have heard. Really gets to who he is, and what hes trying to say. Excellent stuff.
Edmund’s approach to uncomfortable questions is refreshing. However, I believe it’s equally vital to highlight the joy in gaming—the balance between introspection and enjoyment can fuel deeper engagement with these themes. https://topgames.gg/veck-io
Chris, as a middle eatern person and the child of war refugees, it feels sad that the only response I've seen to people bringing up the genocide-denier inclusion is pointing them to the PC Gamer article. I understand there's a very concise scope to the Post Games but I do hope you touch on the topic with a bit more nuance and respect for why people are rightfully upset.

Most episodes (including mine) were recorded before the VO credits were announced. That said, PCGamer did interview him about the topic.
